To help us cost effectively produce realistic prototypes of products, Prosign recently invested in a brand new UV inkjet printer/cutter.

Running prototypes on our final proof equipment was very expensive both in terms of operating the machines and the cost of the specialized media. However UV lets us print directly on a vast selection of medias reducing the costs immensely.

Prosign also now has the ability to print in white ink.

To be able to lay down white ink is crucial for us. A lot of our packaging for the industry is designed to be specifically used with a emphasis on white ink.

Before purchasing the UV printer, we had no way to simulate White ink on our prototypes.

Demonstrating spot White print and UV coating makes the prototype look much more like the finished product.

Prosign also creates proofs on many substrates, our UV accepts such a wide range of media that it can perform a variety of functions for our company.
